Water Line To Washer In Laundry Room Is Damaged

The Laundry Room is the source of this loss.  We were called after the client returned to their Macomb, MI home to find it flooded.  The water line to the washing machine had come unfastened and the water was running for multiple hours effecting some 1st floor rooms and a few basement rooms.  Thankfully this was a category 1 water loss which means the water wasn’t dirty or contaminated with any sewage.  We were able to contain and extract the standing water, remove carpet and damaged drywall & flooring, and dry out the effected areas.  They were lucky the water didn’t go throughout the whole 1st floor and basement.  Check the water lines at least once a year on all of your home appliances.  We’re always happy to help, but you want to avoid these kinds of headaches.
