Water Does Serious Damage in Troy, MI

The basement of this home in Troy, MI was severely flooded and damaged because of a broken water spigot in a storage room next to the basement kitchen. After all of the water extraction we boxed up any salvageable personal items, moved the furniture around and covered them for protection. The drying took over nineteen days because of how much damage there was.  There was significant drywall damage and any carpet had to be thrown out.  There were also personal belongings that could not be saved or restored unfortunately.  Be careful with your basement and any water lines or spigots.  Make sure your stored belongings are safe from water.
