Madison Heights Home Had Smoke Damage

This was at a Madison Heights, MI home where the client sustained smoke damage throughout their home after an appliance fire in the laundry room.  Thankfully the fire was extinguished fairly quickly and it wasn’t a complete loss, but the smoke was pretty bad.  It filled up the home because it spread via the home ventilation system.  All of the contents in each room were permeated with smoke, but were all salvageable.  The walls and rugs were pretty bad too.  There were hardwood floors throughout which was nice.  We packed out all of the insured’s belongings, brought them back to our warehouse, cleaned, restored and delivered them back to the homeowner when given the green light to return to their home.
